Unique opportunity for an RVT at a small animal/exotics practice with urgent care services

Mahalo Veterinary Hospital, located in beautiful Nanaimo BC, is a growing, privately owned hospital. We are currently look to add another full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to our practice. Qualifications
• Ideally 3+ years experience working as an RVT in good standing with the BCVTA
• Experience with surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
• Experience with dental radiography and prophylaxis
• Urgent care experience including; patient triaging, CPR, and critical care
• Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
• Compassionate care for patients, clients and colleagues
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Passion for professional growth and development
• Experience with ezyVet software would be a bonus but not required!

Job Type: Full time, 40 hours/ week Monday to Friday, must be available to work evenings and some weekends. Part time opportunities may also be available.

Salary range: $30-$45/hour commensurate with experience

Relocation bonus: Preference for those available to work or have a reasonable commute to Nanaimo, British Columbia. For the right candidate relocation bonus is open to discussion.
