Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our clinic. Responsibilities:
• Greeting clients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and managing the appointment calendar
• Checking clients in and out, processing payments, and managing financial transactions
• Maintaining a clean and organized reception area and clinic environment
• Communicating effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other medical staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a call center environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• A genuine love for animals and a desire to contribute to their well-being
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with animals or in a veterinary setting
• Knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures
• Experience working with Avimark
