Warman Veterinary Services is hiring a Veterinary Lab Tech & Inventory Assistant (Full-time)

Warman Veterinary Services is seeking a dedicated individual to fill a dual role consisting of lab technician (40%) and inventory in/out (60%). This dual role is crucial in supporting our veterinarian team and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

. Assist veterinarians with diagnostics support

. Prepare and process lab samples including serum, fecal and swabs for external diagnostics

. Ensure a clean and organized lab and office environment adhering to biosecurity protocols

. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

. Support the team with data entry related to herd health management programs

. Receive and prepare shipments for order fulfillment

. Handle incoming product and assemble customer orders

. Process inventory arrivals and package outgoing orders

Qualifications:

. High school diploma or equivalent

. Experience in a vet lab or similar setting a definite asset

. Excellent organizational skills

. Detail-focused and thorough

. Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize tasks

. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

. Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50lbs) as required
