Nanaimo Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Assistant (Full-time)

Nanaimo Vet is a full service small animal veterinary hospital assisting with the healthcare of many patients. We are looking to add new team members to the already tight knit, hard working team. We are seeking a person who will work well with this group of vet care team members. This person needs to enjoy working with people as every animal comes in with a person. They need to have excellent communication skills both in person and on the phone and can adapt to different situations. Computer skills and typing skills are a must as we have computerized records.

Almost all skills working with animals can be taught while on the job but being an awesome person and someone who can roll with the day as it goes cannot, so this is essential! We are looking for self-motivated, quick learning individuals with a great attitude.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

• Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
