About this Job
Rockyview Pet Vets in Crossfield, Alberta is looking for a kind, motivated full time receptionist to greet customers, book appointments, handle invoices, return emails, answer phones and provide administrative support to the veterinary team. Other duties include cleaning exam rooms, handling inventory and occasionally helping with animals at the clinic. Clinic hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Part time applicants will also be considered.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Proper phone etiquette
Computer Literate
Experience with veterinary software is a plus
Friendly Demeanor
Attention to detail
Positive Attitude
Willingness to learn medical terminology
Comfortable handling dogs and cats
Must be able to lift 35lbs or greater
Veterinary medical receptionist certificate or previous experience in veterinary clinic is preferred.
