Black Mountain Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinarian (Full-time)

Job Summary
We are a new facility, privately owned with exceptional equipment and support staff. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing medical care to dogs and cats, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and performing surgeries and dentals. There is no on call duty.

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations on animals to diagnose health problems
- Recommend and administer appropriate vaccinations (we follow the AAHA guidelines)- Perform surgical procedures as needed- Prescribe medication and treatment plans- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and disease prevention- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff membersRequirements- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school- Ability to qualify for CVBC licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the province of British Columbia- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and staff-We are looking for a full-time associate that is committed to growing with us.
