Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a veterinary setting.

Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area- Obtain and update patient information in electronic medical records- Process payments, invoices, and insurance claims- Assist veterinary staff with various administrative tasks- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently- Provide product information, pricing, and availability details to customers- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in the system- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers effectivelyExperience:- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred but not necessary- Proficiency in using software systems for appointment scheduling and record keeping- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative- Excellent problem-solving abilitiesJoin our team as a Veterinary Receptionist to contribute to the well-being of animals and provide exceptional service to our clients.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $19.00-$22.00 per hourBenefits:• Dental care• Discounted or free food• Employee assistance program• Extended health care• On-site parking• RRSP match• Store discount• Vision care• Wellness programSchedule:• Monday to FridayExperience:• Veterinary: 1 year (preferred)• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
