Veterinary Technician

Qualifications
• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Vet Tech required
• Registered Veterinary Technician License is required
• An open mind-set with the passion to professionally develop!
• Must be tech savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with Avimark is an asset, but not required.
• The ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• A super friendly and fun demeanor - this team works hard but has fun doing it!
• Dependability - as part of a small team, you are counted on to help things run smoothly
• Superior communication skills and strong attention to detail with clients and colleagues
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passion for dogs and cats (and the ability to handle them) is a MUST!
Core Responsibilities
The skills you worked hard to gain will be appreciated and utilized fully! We will count on you to:
• Expertly draw blood
• Place IV catheters
• Administer IV and subcutaneous injections
• Administrative duties as assigned
• Deliver excellent patient nursing care
• Manage Surgical prep, surgical, and post-surgical monitoring
• Provide superior client service, educating pet parents with a tailored approach
• Assist with medical supply ordering
• Complete special projects assigned by our Doc
• Keep a clean and organized workspace
• Take notes and keep accurate client records
• Other duties as needed
Hours & Availability
Candidates available full time hours are invited to apply. Your availability must align with our current working hours:
• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Sundays: Closed
• Some rotating Saturday availability is required
