Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice.

· Interpersonal Skills - Front office reception is often the first face visitors to Agwest see. They are largely responsible for the first impression people have about our company. The demeanor of our front office receptionist is vital to Agwest operations, and the receptionist’s level of courtesy can have far-reaching consequences. A friendly, inviting, and welcoming demeanor is essential for all clients, visitors, and communications coming into Agwest.

Responsibilities
• Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary office's calendar efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and appointments.
• Utilize computer systems for data entry and appointment scheduling.
• Assist with service & product invoicing as well as receiving & processing payments.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
Experience
• Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing records and appointments effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and staff.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling, record keeping, and communication.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
