Brookswood Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist (Full-time)

Brookswood Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team to support our growing practice. We value the skills of a Veterinary Office Assistant and want them to be fully utilized. Some of your duties will include:
- Patient care; Responsible for basic animal husbandry for patients, administering medications under supervision of the doctor, restraint of patients for medical procedures/treatments
- Assist in patient monitoring under the supervision of a veterinarian or technician
- Preparing and sterilizing surgical packs and instruments
- Performing laboratory testing
- Housekeeping/maintaining overall hospital cleanliness
- Assisting with client service representative duties when required: Answering phone calls, emails, filling medications, checking clients in/out etc.

Required:

Graduation from a recognized VOAC/VA program; or a minimum of 1 year experience in the veterinary field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
