Fort Langley Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist (Full-time)

We are a small, one doctor companion animal clinic located in beautiful Fort Langley that practices high quality medicine. We are committed to providing excellent care of our patients and our wonderful clientele. We foster a supportive learning environment and know that our success is attributable to our staff, of which we are looking to add 1 full time individual to!

The position will be full time, Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday shifts would be 8:30am until 5, Wednesday shifts are 11:30am until 8pm and Saturday would be 8:30am until 4pm, with very occasional overtime needed. The ideal candidate will be compassionate to all patients and clients, have a sense of humor, be able to multitask incredibly well, have a positive attitude, be reliable and possess superb communication and client service skills. Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, a team player, and of course must love animals.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Assisting with restraint for a multitude of procedures and tasks• Answering a 2-line phone system• Booking, cancelling and confirming appointments• Checking patients in and out, including entering billing and taking payment for their visits• Managing the email including printing lab results, records and answering any inquiries as necessary• Various callbacks and reminders for clients and patients• General cleaning of the clinic, laundry, maintenanceExperience or schooling within the veterinary field is a must, and applicants must be 19 years of age or older. Experience and knowledge with Cornerstone software is an asset, but not a requirement.Only qualified candidates will be contacted.
